Easter is a time to remember our Risen King. If you’re like my family, after going to church we celebrate Easter with Grandpa, grandma, Lolo, Lola, all the aunts, all the uncles and every child in the family that may or may not be their cousins.
We eat soooo much food (Different ethnic foods), different kinds of desserts ON TOP of the Easter egg hunt and the Easter basket filled with chocolate eggs. There’s always one question I can never answer, “why does the Easter Bunny leave eggs? “. I should probably research this and discuss this in another post 🙂 .
But today, I want to talk about the extra Easter blessings. I’m talking about things ON SALE after Easter that can help you save for your children’s future activities. For example, Target sells packs of pencil for $0.50/10pcs! What, $0.50/10pcs?! Yes, $0.50/10pcs! So by the time, Cydney and Maxima starts school next fall I don’t have to buy pencils at all.
And if you plan to make dessert tables for your summer children’s birthday party, this is also the time to purchase chocolates and candies wrapped in pastel colors. They’re usually 50-70% off.
